New Wave Pools, Inc. was formed 15 years ago with a mission to provide a solid engineering approach to pool design and construction. Mark Vaughan, President of NWP Inc., brought over 30 years of professional consulting engineering design and construction experience to the pool industry. Engineering project client list includes Samsung Austin Semiconductor, Motorola, University of Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Baylor as well as many smaller private sector clients.
New Wave Pools Inc. (NWP Inc.) business operations began with the installation of fiberglass pools in the Liberty Hill & Central Texas area. NWP Inc. was awarded the prestigious Viking Pools Bronze Award 2 years in a row for providing quality service and showing a steady increase in sales volume that reflected a positive approach to client development.
Custom Gunite Pools & Spas
After successfully installing fiberglass pools for several years, NWP, Inc. added the design and installation of custom gunite pools to its business offering. NWP, Inc. sought out top pool subcontractors to deliver quality pools to clients in and around the Liberty Hill area.
NWP Inc’s President, Mark Vaughan, became a NSPI Certified Building Professional in 2005, becoming one of a small number of builders in Liberty Hill with this highly respected professional accreditation in the Pool Industry.
With successes of custom gunite pool and spa construction and a demand for quality commercial pool construction, NWP, Inc joint ventured with an Austin General Contractor to build several Amenity Center/Commercial Swimming Pool projects for a National Home Builder in the Central Texas Area. The projects included water play pool with 6 different water features and lap pool for Travis County in Manor, TX.
Residential & Commercial Pool Design
In response to a demand for professional residential and commercial pool designs, Mr. Vaughan started Professional Pool Consulting. The firm has designed residential pools and several large commercial pool projects, including a 3 pool complex at Steiner Ranch and a 2 pool facility for the City of Commerce.
New Wave Pools is a member of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals and the Better Business Bureau. NWP Inc.’s President is an APSP Certified Building Professional (CBP) and holds a State of Texas Master Electrical License. Both licenses require annual continuing education to maintain.
